Mass spectrometry online

Real-time process characterization.

The gas sample is introduced into the system, ionized and separated according to the mass-to-charge ratio. The software converts the signals into concentrations and provides the results for monitoring, recording or control.

1
Multicomponent

A single analyzer accompanies several components in wide concentration ranges.

2
No carrier gas for reading

Direct analysis reduces steps and allows quick cycles.

3
Admission is part of the solution

Heated lines, point selection, calibration and conditioning are defined according to the application.

Frequently Asked Questions

About mass spectrometry for process monitoring.

Information for the first configuration decisions.

What is mass spectrometry for process?

It is the use of the spectrometer connected to the process or experiment to identify and quantify gaseous or volatile components in real time, allowing monitoring transients, efficiency and end point.

Is it possible to analyze several gaseous currents?

Yes. Telesto has 16 inputs in flow-through configuration, while GAM platforms can receive selection systems configured according to the number of currents, calibrations and response requirements.

Do systems measure wet gases or condensable vapors?

Yes, when admission is configured with heating and compatible materials. Temperature, pressure, humidity, dew point and reactivity should be evaluated in solution engineering.

What's the difference between Calypso and Telesto?

Calypso is oriented to a process or experiment connection and can work with heated intake up to 300 °C. Telesto prioritizes multiple points, with 16 inputs and heating up to 120 °C.

When should GAM 3000 be considered?

When the analysis requires continuous industrial operation, PLC automation, robust enclosure, rapid process selection response and ATEX configuration possibility.

The spectrometer replaces a gas chromatography?

Depends on the application. Mass spectrometry provides rapid and multicomponent analysis; mixtures with isobaric interference may require resolution, modeling, additional separation or complementary technique.

How does SENS define the configuration?

The team evaluates components, ranges, matrix, interference, number of currents, temperature, pressure, humidity, materials, area classification, integration and desired response time.

Is there local support in Brazil?

SENS supports the evaluation of the application, specification, installation, training and support of the solution in Brazil.
